The safety of your family and our staff has always been ourfirst priority. During this time of heightened health and safety concerns, we’re following CDC, state and local guidelines closely. To help put our families’ minds at ease, we’re not just following these guidelines, we look to exceed them at each day at our center.

Here are some of the enhanced safety procedures we’ve implemented.
All staff required to wear masks while in our center
Health screening of every staff and student upon building entry, and two temperature checks daily
Refusing entry to our school to those who exhibit symptoms, and immediate screening and exiting of those who start exhibiting symptoms after arriving
Keeping the same teachers with the same students and not combining classrooms throughout the day
Limiting school access to students and teachers only, with limited exceptions for vendors where necessary
Enhanced hand washing requirements
Enhanced sanitizing of all portions of our school building, and removing hard-to-clean items such as rugs and certain types of toys
Hand sanitizer available throughout the school
Home office Quality Assurance team observing and enforcing all policies in real time
Through our fantastic relationships with our families and our employees, Young and Gifted has been able to successfully implement these policies and procedures in a way that has allowed us to keep every one of our center open through the entire COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to working with our families, our staff and our local health departments to continue to offer a safe and healthy environment for every adult and child in our center.
From all of us at Young and Gifted Learning Center, thank you for your continued trust in us. For more information and resources on coronavirus, please visit the CDC’s Coronavirus resource page.
